There are no fillers or waxes - they are made with DANIEL SMITH paint pigment and gum arabic, shaped into a convenient stick form and dried. They are highly reactive with water, similar to pan paints (1 Watercolor Stick equals 3 full pans), and easily release our beautiful DANIEL SMITH watercolor paint with a touch of a wet brush, or when drawn onto wet paper.
